The legendary Ship Inn Raft Race is back—and it promises a day like no other on Langstone’s waterfront.

Join us on Saturday 15th August at the Ship Inn Langstone for the return of our much-loved raft race, an annual highlight that truly brings the community together. The festivities begin at 1pm with live music from local favourites, Superheroes, setting the perfect soundtrack for a summer’s afternoon. Dust off your creative caps for this year’s Age of Empires theme—prizes will go to the teams that embrace the spirit both in the water and on shore. The main event, our raft races, set off from 2pm. Alongside the action, enjoy classic pub hospitality with a sizzling BBQ, and an atmosphere that welcomes all ages.

This year, we’re proud to be raising money for the Spinal Injuries Association and RNLI—two causes close to our hearts. Every paddle stroke and pound raised makes a genuine difference, and your support means the world.
